When William Hill Bingo launched back in 2007 we commented that it in the shadows of it’s bookmaker competitors and that it lacked enough bells and whistles to stand out. Since that early review however things have changed dramatically for this Virtue Fusion based brand. In our view it’s now one of the leading brands on the network and offers players a good mix of regular network promotions and exclusives.
William Hill Bingo Welcome Offer
William Hill Bingo have experimented with a number of different welcome offers over the years including no deposit bonuses and newbie rooms. More recently they’ve dropped a welcome offer for bingo players although The Bonus Drop – a daily free to play game which can win you up to £1000 – is featured instead. William Hill aren’t the first Virtue Fusion brand to limit first deposit bonuses. Bet365 have taken this approach although that’s changed recently whilst Bgo.com have also dropped their bonus for players. In our view The Bonus Drop game actually does seem to be a better option!

William Hill Bingo Rooms
On a more positive note, bingo wise there’s loads to choose from at William Hill Bingo – with up to 23 rooms accessible to players. These include 75 ball, 80 ball and 90 ball games in rooms such as Lunch Club, Party, Willy’s Den, Zoom Room, Stars & Stripes and Bargain Basement. Plus you’ll find Cash Cubes, Deal Or No Deal, Age Of The Gods, Fluffy Favourites, Rainbow Riches Room and exclusives like the 50 ball Bingo Bowl to add some variation to the traditional games. If you like free or cheap games then The Bargain Basement is your room as William Hill regularly run freebies or penny bingo days/weeks in that section.

For games players there’s the usual sides to enjoy including Big Top Tombola, Deal Or No Deal, Pink Panther, Wild Gambler and many more. A few years back we felt that William Hill Bingo were one of the few brands really not pushing slots to players which was a big positive. However obviously with The Bonus Drop promotion which gives you the chance to win daily spins that’s no longer the case. In fact it does seem that William Hill have a bigger focus on their Vegas and Casino sections than they do on bingo. In those sections you’ll find Megaways, Slingo, Daily Drop Jackpots, Progressive and Live Game Shows.

William Hill Bingo Promotions
Promotions at William Hill Bingo used to put them right up near the top when it comes to bookies bingo sites! They had regular prize offers and in the past have given away cars, cash and much more. Look at their promos page now and it’s limited to Bargain Basement offers, penny bingo and free games. Ocassionally there may be a network offer or a chance to pick up spins. This is actually in line with what a lot of other brands are doing but then you look at Buzz, Mecca and Gala who still have prizes to dish out and regular player activities and William Hill has dropped down the list.
Penny’s Thoughts On William Hill Bingo Promotions
Luckys Bingo Hall
Our last review of William Hill Bingo concluded that “we’re hard pushed to find fault with William Hill Bingo to date”. However we did warn that “the loss of the welcome bonus and early signs of less promos is a little worrying”. However we do like The Bonus Drop game – and it’s predecessor The Bonus Explorer – and maybe this is a better option for players over traditional welcome bonuses? In many respects it combines a welcome offer and promotion that all players can win on not just once but as long as the offer runs. As for the bingo rooms well they can’t be faulted. The Virtue Fusion platform gives a good variety of games, jackpots and ticket prices.
